THE SCIENCE CONFERENCE 2003

Under the auspices of His Excellency President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the President of Republic of Yemen, the President of the Yemen Scientific Research Foundation (YSRF) Board of Founders, the Science Conference 2003 took place in the city of Seiyun during ( 11 - 13) October 2003.

In these three days, more then 250 papers and posters were presented by more than 500 authors and co-authors .The papers and posters covered the topics of the Conference in both basic and applied sciences. The papers were distributed among 28 parallel and plenary sessions. Tow additional events were held in parallel to the Science Conference 2003. The first was tiled as The First Yemeni Ophthalmic Society Conference in which 150 ophthalmologists participated in this activity. The second was titled as The First Symposium of the Yemeni Biological Society in which 30 biologists participated.
